Gary explained the value of launching a paywall to show true value to print readership. He reviewed many great strategies for building your paid audience using a paywall including:

  • a metered paywall offering a limited number of free articles for each user
  • offering subscriber-only articles to add extra value to becoming a subscriber; and,
  • a strategic pricing strategy using multiple introductory offers to maximize both subscription volume and lifetime value.

The takeaway from the webinar was to build a digital subscription model that will sustain the organization for years to come.
